Update on Pakistan’s flood reveals that malnutrition is becoming an issue

In the A-Blast’s second issue, Pakistan’s massive flood was covered. In an update on the flood, it seems as though people are still not getting enough relief, if they are getting any relief at all. “I think that the country is going through extreme hardships and the other countries need to extend their hand out to them. They need to be helped until they’re stable again and until all the victims have received proper care,” said senior Saniya Mir. Not only that, malnutrition is becoming an increasing problem. Many children who are flood victims suffer from malnutrition. The fact that 7 million victims still do not have shelter increases the amount of flood victims suffering from malnutrition, especially the children.
