1. Do you believe Fairfax County should keep the 6-point grading scale? Why or why not?
Sure—sets high expectations.
2. Do you think Fairfax County students are fairly assessed for college admissions? Why or why not?
Yes, same policies used for all Fairfax schools.
3. When so many school systems around us, for example Arlington County and St. Stephens/St. Agnes Episcopal School, grade on a 10-point scale, should Fairfax County change its grading policy?
No, colleges are aware of our vigorous scale.
4. When you are grading in the classroom, how does it affect your grading of papers for your students to know that in Fairfax County it is more difficult to make an A than in neighboring school systems?
Makes students work harder!
