Tropical Smoothie Café does not exist in the Annandale area yet, but stay on the lookout for one opening soon in the Pinecrest Plaza, next to the Starbucks. It is absolutely delicious and it offers so much more than smoothies. Greeted with a welcoming tropical atmosphere, this café is sure to lift your spirits. Combine your delicious smoothie with a main course to really fill your stomach. Choose from salads, flatbread sandwiches, toasted wraps, and bistro sandwiches to satisfy your large appetite. The food is slightly overpriced, so just one smoothie is almost enough to satisfy not only your thirst but also your hunger. They also have a wide range of smoothies, from coffee smoothies to low fat smoothies. Tropical Smoothie Café offers alternative ingredients to fruit such as peanut butter, tea, and chocolate. Our recommendations: Bahama Mama, Acai Berry Boost, and Sunrise Sunset.
