Deacorate your walls for spring with this easy to make spray paint silhouette botanical art DIY.
Materials:
- Spray paint
- paint
- paint brush
- paint dish
- paper or canvas
- spray-on adhesive
- leaves or flowers (For the best results, place these between two sheets of paper, then flatten them for a day or two between two heavy books.)
- You may want to use papers or old news papers to keep your work area clean.
Instructions:
- Squeeze out your paint onto your paint dish and completely cover your piece of paper or canvas. Let dry. You may want to use old news papers to keep your work area clean.
- Tack your leaves or flowers to the canvas with the adhesive spray.
- Spray paint your entire canvas, including your leaves or flowers. Aim the paint from left to right form about one or two feet away to prevent uneven coating.
- Carefully remove your leaves or flowers and let the canvas dry.
- Once dried, you can hang your DIY botanical art.
