The A-Blast is a student run school newspaper and website for Annandale High School in Northern Virginia. Through a partnership with the Washington post, we print a new edition every two to three weeks, focusing on current events both inside Annandale High School and the Annandale Community. The A-Blast Newspaper, created in 1954, has received numerous awards including the NSPA Pacemaker Award and the CSPA Gold Crown Award making the A-Blast one of the top 10 High School Newspapers in the country. Recently, thea-blast.org was also a 2012 Pacemaker Award winner as well as a 2012 CSPA Gold Crown Award winner. We strive for accurate, relevant, and professional journalism and greatly appreciate feedback from the community.
