Junior Maisha Maliha has only started painting recently but in that time, she has left her mark as a donor of ANERA (America Near East Refugee Aid). Maliha has raised 100 dollars in one month for the fund. The proceeds of her most recent painting will also go towards a relief fund in Yemen.

She originally worked on 3 inch by 3 inch canvases but has since then progressed into using much larger dimensions.

Her work is especially popular during the holiday season in which she offers holiday cards or specially commissioned paintings.

When asked how she decided to support these causes through her art, Maliha said, “I really wanted to help out so I decided to use a skill that I had in order to raise money for a cause that I believe in.”
