Baskteball spring league aims at strengthening team

Players from all around the area are playing the in basketball spring league. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors participate in the spring league in order to improve in their many skill sets. 12 teams in the league are given a chance to play against each other.

Next year, the basketball team hopes to accomplish their goals of improving social skills of playing with other players and working as a team.

“I joined the spring league because I wanted to get better at my skills,” said Sophomore Kevin Folli. “I enjoy playing basketball and I get a chance to play it in the spring league.”

The basketball spring league raises money for the next year teams. They are raising money through funding and donations and hope to get new beaters.

“I hope they have a learning experience through this,” said Coach Behne.

The players are able to meet new people and improve their games by playing against other teams.The teams

“It is helpful by helping me get acquainted with other players,” said Sophomore Francis Sillah.

The spring league is six weeks long, ending at the end of May. During practices, the players work on their dribbling skills and layups.

“Next year, I expect a successful season,” said Coach Behne.
