Mark Hamill, prospective speaker at senior graduation
Seniors at AHS are going crazy trying to get Mark Hamilton to speak as a special guest at their graduation this year. Before he starred as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars movies, Mark Hamill was a student at AHS.
He attended his sophomore and junior year before moving to Japan. Senior SGA informed the class of the plot yesterday at their class meeting.
The seniors then began tweeting at Hamill, trying to achieve a trending tag and get noticed by @HamillHimself.
They are tweeting and retweeting as much as possible, trying to get Hamilton to notice. The most common The hashtags used are “#AHSgraduation2017” and “#LukeComeHome”.
According to one of Hamill’s close friends, he checks his twitter more than his mail. Twitter is the best way to reach him. AHS students should back the senior class up and help them achieve this goal. It would be beneficial to AHS as well as the senior class.
