Ossian Hall Park Clean Up

On September 10th 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. efforts were made AHS students and members of the Annandale community to clean up Ossian Hall park. He anticipated to have 25 to 30 people to help beautify the park because that is how many participated last year.

“This saturday we’re going to pick up trash from the park, weed, and landscape the planting beds in front of the playground” the school resource officer said.

Ossian park is one of the first things people see when they come into the Annandale campus and maintaining its condition helps create a better image for Annandale.

The effort is a great way to gather community service hours for all the students being as at least 20 community service hours are required to graduate.

The school police Officer hopes to have more clean-ups in the upcoming months, at least once a month to help students earn more community service hours.

“We’re going to try to have clean ups in nice weather months about once per month” Officer  said.
