Every year, active shootings happen in schools and universities that involves with a handgun or rifle. Before a school shooting event, the security team should give students and teachers tips on “how to survive in an active shooting?”. School security and the administration team should be guarding every entrance because they have to watch if there is a shooter approaching to the school. If the shooter arrives to the school, the whole school would be in a real lock down, then students and staff should protect themselves and also call 911, the school resource officer, and law enforcement. Some county schools would be closed after the shooting event has occurred. Hopefully Annandale HS doesn’t start a school shooting just like last month in Parkland, FL.
