With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, a popular AHS tradition will be making it’s return as well, Singing Valentines.

Every year during the week leading up to Valentine’s Day, the chorus program sells Singing Valentine’s during all lunches. Students can purchase these Singing Valentine’s for any significant other, friend, or even teacher.

Singing Valentine’s are being sold for $5 this year with the Premium Singing Valentine’s which include candy being $6. Students purchasing can include a card with a note for the recipient of the Singing Valentine.

Then on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, chorus students will go to the classes of Singing Valentine’s recipients depending on the period requested. Students will then perform the requested song which there are a wide variety to select from this year.

“My favorite part about Singing Valentine’s is seeing students receive them,” senior chorus member Hemen Besufekad said. “It’s really nice seeing them get all happy and excited and you can see that it made their day.

Singing Valentine’s can purchased Monday through Wednesday this week in the Cafeteria.
