In honor of Halloween, Leadership will be holding the second spirit week of the year during the following week.

Named this year’s “Halloweek,” activities throughout the week will include hallway decorations and dressing up.

However, unlike previous spirit weeks, this one will only last for three days.

“We made this decision because a shortened week gives us more time to advertise, and there are not many themes that are related to Halloween,” Leadership president Abby Kitila said.

Each hallway in the school has been given a new, Halloween-themed name, and teachers are encouraged to decorate.

In terms of dressing up, Wed. Oct. 30 is for class colors. Freshman are to wear orange, sophomores are to wear green, juniors are to wear red or burgundy, and seniors are to wear purple.

For Thurs. Oct. 31, students and staff are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes. Like every year, The A-Blast will be taking pictures for the annual costume competition.

Fri. Nov. 1 is the deadline for early college applications, so everyone is to wear college gear to support seniors.
