Maggiano’s Little Italy is exactly what it sounds like, as you walk in the dim lighting and vintage furniture sets the mood perfectly. The food ranges from all different kinds of pasta to salads and pizza options. Many people tend to spend nights out with family or friends at Maggiano’s for a laid back evening. 

The Springfield mall location tends to be the most popular because of how conveniently close it is. The prices at Maggiano’s tend to be quite expensive but are worth it once you take a bite. I personally had the “Mom’s Lasagna” which was very decadent in taste. It had a nice balance of Ricotta cheese and crumbled meatballs. I also ordered an appetizer which was the garlic mashed potatoes. I didn’t really enjoy this side because the mashed potatoes were dry and were lacking salt. The prices were excessive considering the basic food that was on the menu.

The service at Maggiano’s was by far the best part of the experience. The waiters were extremely nice and friendly. They helped my friends and I decide what to choose off of the menu. They gave us the best options and they also gave us their honest opinion about each dish. 

Although the food wasn’t the best considering the prices and the bland flavor, the overall experience was good. I would recommend Maggiano’s for someone who wants to spend some quality time with friends or family to unwind and destress. The vibe in the restaurant also helped set a positive mood and an impeccable ambiance.
