Healthy snack: Spinach and vegetables

Spinach is the key ingredient for this snack.

This a easy snack to make after school. This will wake you up because of the sour taste but still help satisfy your body’s needs for vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients:

-One or two handfuls of spinach

-Half of a carrot

-Half of a tomato

-Half a cucumber

-Salt

-Lime or lemon

-Bowl

Directions:

1. Wash your spinach, tomato, lime/lemon and cucumber.

2. Place the spinach into the bowl. Cut the tomato in whichever size you prefer. Peel your carrot and cut into circular pieces. Also, cut the cucumber into thin slices.

3. Add all the vegetables into the bowl of spinach.

4. Cut your lime or lemon and squeeze over the bowl, then mix.

5. Add some salt if you do not want a sour taste.

Time: Five minutes
