Pet Halloween Costumes

Halloween is a time where children get to express their creativity through costumes of their own, and even costumes for their pets. Pet costumes are starting to become more and more popular throughout the world, but what exactly should you dress your beloved animal as? Here are a few tips to help you think of the perfect way to get your pet all ready for Halloween.

Got a dog? If you’re thinking about buying a costume, a more popular idea to dress him or her up as is a pumpkin or bumble bee. These are very commonly sold in pet stores. Although, if you’re looking for a more wallet-friendly option, think about making your own ghost costume for your dog. All you would need is an old pillow case and a pair of scissors!

Cat owners? Cat costumes can be as simple as a pair of animal ears you can put on their head. An idea is Hello Kitty ears or another form of animal ears. A cheaper option is to dress your cat up as a witch by putting a black cape and hat on. A black cape can be easily made out of an old black t-shirt, and the hat can be a used party hat covered in black construction paper.

Get into the Halloween spirit this year, and dress up your pet too!
