I attended: George Mason University and I graduated in 2009 and then again in 2011 to obtain my master. My favorite class was program board where we planned events similar to what the Leadership class does, such as Homecoming.

I was born in: Arlington. I have lived in the Annandale area my whole life  and I do not plan on moving. I attended AHS and graduated in 2005. I particpated in sports and was apart of many clubs such as field hockey, softball, chorus and peer tutoring.

Before teaching at AHS: I worked at Holmes Middle School for two years before I came to AHS. I worked as an instructional assisant while attending grad school. Once I completed grad school, I began applying for teaching jobs and Holmes had no openings therefore I applied to AHS.

I teach at AHS because: I loved the environment , students and my co-workers. Even when I went here as a student, I enjoyed it and it became like my second home. I have been teaching here for 6 years and plan on continuing. I am curerntly teaching Geometry and  this is my first year supervising Leadership.

In my free time: I like to cook, do yoga, dance and play with my dog Tucker. I also love watching the show New Girl on Netflix or my favorite movie When Harry Met Sally.
