My name is Zack and I’m a sophomore here at Annandale High school. Currently, I am on the varsity track team and I will continue to be on the track team this coming spring season. I also play football in the fall season, this year I played defensive back for JV and Varsity team and continue to grow for the next 2 years. I am from America, my parents are from Costa Rica. I have 3 siblings, 2 brothers and 1 sister. I have 2 cats, 1 of them is really fat but the other one is basically bones.

Some of my hobbies are playing [the video game] Madden, hanging out with friends, and spending time with my family. I’ve always loved sports and have played a variety of them including soccer, football, track, and basketball.

After high school, I plan on going to college for some type of sport and I like the idea of majoring in chemical engineering. Some of my favorite sports teams are the Redskins, Capitals, Nationals, and Lakers.

Sometimes in my spare time I like to cook, I learned how to cook from my sister and she taught me how to make all types of food. During Christmas, my family usually likes to have a gathering where we all meet up at my grandparents’ house and have a big dinner and exchange gifts.

I’m also a part of the Annandale Singers chorus here, we have a ton of gigs and I find much joy in being able to spend more time with my classmates and we become closer and make better music.

We just performed at the Willard hotel and I found it a great experience. I am looking forward to the next 2 years with this group and I’m excited for what we’ll sound like in our senior year.
