Cupcakes have overtaken the modern day, but the next new pastry to make a splash in D.C. is the doughnut, by creating new shops to enjoy these tasty treats.
This month, two new doughnut locations will be open for business.
These shops will offer the traditional flavors such as vanilla and chocolate, and the more gourmet tastes like creme brulee, Brooklyn Blackout, maple bacon and panettone.
