Junior Wania Islam is in her first year on the A-Blast as a staff writer. In the past she has been involved in organizations such as Onabolagolpon BD, a sexual assault awareness program and has experience as an at-home Gel X nail tech. She is in debate, track, SASA, MHSA, Just World and many other extracurriculars. Additionally, she is a member of the National English Honor Society, National Social Studies Honor Society, the Quill & Scroll Honor Society and had board member positions for the Arabic and Art Club.  In her free time she loves to watch her favorite shows, such as Spongebob, South Park and Cars as well as watch FC Barcelona play.
