5 Step Spring Craft: Pressing Flowers

Choosing flowers to press

For the best results, try to select flowers that are relatively flat or have flat faces.

Materials Needed:

A Large Book

Parchment Paper

A weight

Step 1

Make sure your flowers are completely dry.

Step 2

Fold the parchment paper in half and place the flowers between the fold.

Step 3

Open the book about halfway and place the parchment paper, folded over the flowers, inside.

Step 4 

Close the book and place your weight on top. Wait 2-3 weeks for flowers to dry.

Step 5 

After your flowers are completely dry, peel them off of the parchment paper. Now you have dried flowers that will last!
