On Monday, June 1, AHS will host Physical Night. This is an opportunity for student athletes to get their physical done at school.
This will be valid for all sports in the 2026-2027 school year.
Physical Night is not only about getting a physical, it’s also about fundraising the AHS Athletic training program.
This will help the trainers get new equipment to better aid student athletes.
For some students, they find it convenient to get their physicals at school, and not just the doctor’s office.
“Physical Night is really worth it. It supports the athletic trainers and makes it easy for everyone who plays a sport,” sophomore Rowan Readinger said.
Appointments start at 5:30pm and end at 7:30pm, and walk in exams cost $60 dollars, but if you preregister, it will only cost $50 dollars.
The slots fill out very quickly and it’s recommended by the school to make an appointment as soon as you can before the slots empty out.
Many of the student athletes express their experience during physical night as a positive experience, and a helpful way to support the AHS athletic trainers.
“My experience with Physical Night was good, it was very smooth and quick. I would recommend it for others to go because it’s something you can do to support the trainers at school,”sophomore Isabella Izaguirre said. “And it’s easier for you, as the trainers already have the physical paper.”
Preregister using the link in the AHS Athletics/Activities email to register for a physical valid for the 2026-2027 school year or walk in.
Make sure to pick the AHS option to support our Athletic Trainers who help student athletes when they’re hurt, because they don’t get any funding besides physical night for medical supplies and equipment.
