DIY hand dotted tumblers

Brighten up your home with these decorative tumblers using only Q-tips and paint.

Materials:

  • Q-tips
  • several glass tumblers
  • different colors of paint
  • a piece of paper

Instructions:

  1. Squeeze your paint colors on a sheet of paper.
  2. Dip one end of a Q-tip into each color. Use the Q-tips to dot the bottoms and lower sides of of your tumblers. Start with one color, let it dry, then add another color to create the speckled layer effect.
  3. Continue adding layers until most of the bottom of your tumbler is covered.
  4. Allow your tumblers to dry completely before turning them over.
  5. Your hand dotted tumblers are complete and ready to use.
