Ensemble performs for school board

The words of the United States National Anthem rang out at the beginning of the school board meeting last week. This time, however, they were performed by AHS students.
A quartet, comprised of seniors Steve Aderton and David Furney and juniors Leif Jomuad and Michael McLean performed U.S. National Anthem on Sept. 5 in front of the entire school board.
“Singing the National Anthem for the school board was a great experience,” Aderton said. “It’s always nice to be appreciated for something you love doing.”
The quartet first performed together during the 2013-2014 school year in the musical, The Music Man.
