PTSA looking for new members

During this school year of 2016/17 the PTSA is looking for new members that will volunteer to help around throughout the year. The PTSA has also opened up a few amount of new positions and positions that are needed to fill out the board.

To join the PTSA you will need to belong to the PTA. The new PTSA president Carrie Holmes stated “I need someone that wants to make a difference in our community, school and our students”

The positions are the Senior Reflections Program, PTSA Scholarships and Awards, Hospitality, Fundraising Chair, Reflections Chair, Student Representatives (New Position), Floater – This person helps out everyone (New Position), Fairfax County Council of PTA (FCCPSTA), Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Parents for the All-Night Grad Celebration (ANGC) committee.

To join the PTSA you will need to belong to the PTA, the Parent Teacher Association.

If parents are fearing the responsibility that comes with the position they choose no need to worry. Holmes claimed “If you don’t want the added responsibility please select one of the committees listed below I will do the rest.”
