Senior Parent and Student Night

Senior Student and Parents Night is “about getting seniors ready after high school, and what comes next” stated Robin Roth the Career Center Specialist. This event will be held in September 20, 2016 in the Clausen Hall but only for seniors.

During the event students it will be divided to three sessions which Students and Parents will choose two sessions from the three. Each session will last 25 minutes with five minutes for Q&A and 3 minutes for passing:

“Applying to College from an Admissions Representative Perspective” in Room 320 with Barry Bradberry an Associate Dean of Admissions and Financial Planning from Elon University.

“AHS Application Process and Making a Plan in Family Connections” in the Clausen Hall with two counselors Rebecca Lockard and Nancy Templer and Robin Roth the career center specialist in AHS.

“What a community college can do for you!” in the Career Center with Interim Coordinator for Student Success in Annandale Campus Maureen Lawson and Jacqueline Yekapabo a NOVA pathways to the Baccalaureate Counselor.

“This program is for all the seniors for them to apply for financial aid college as early to complete their applications and to look for money. And if the seniors do not want to go to college, they need to make sure they make reserve in the military.” said Robin Roth.
