The hard work has finally come to an end as the annual science fair was held on Wednesday January 25 in the cafeteria. Students displayed their experiments on poster boards in the upper gym where judges walked around to score the projects.

The upper gym was “packed for the science fair” said  Mariamawit Woldeab, a science fair participant, whose project was about The Effect of 5 Different Liquids on Red Cabbage PH Strips.

Due to tremendous amounts of snow last year, science fair was cancelled. This contributed to many students excitement for this years fair.

“I have been in two science fairs before and this science fair is really not different” Woldeab said “[However] this science fair presentation method was a lot better because we only had to present to one judge instead of everyone that comes across our projects”

Some students suggested that for the next science fair food be provided because it can become tiring presenting all afternoon.
