Making a difference award

The annual Annandale High school volunteer “Making a Difference” Award is opening the applications to nominate a candidate that made an incredible contribution by doing community service. This award would not only recognize the chosen for his/her contribution for the community but also encourage young people to volunteer and make a change in their communities..

If you know someone that has these qualities, nominate him/her using this form and return it to Career Center Specialist Robin Roth in Student Services office no later than March 30.

If you are nominated you will be required to write an essay on “what it means to make a difference and Invest in community through volunteerism.”

Volunteer service is one of the most important actions that you can do to change your community and people that do it will be compensated with awards such as this one, is not too late for everyone to participate and collaborate to their community.
