Walk into an overwhelming atmosphere of people in old traditional gowns and costumes singing and dancing or maybe even take a seat and

enjoy musical and theatrical acts that are meant to take you back to the 18th century at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

The Maryland Renaissance Festival has been in place since last weekend, August 27th and will be continuing up until late October every weekend from 7am to 10pm. Tickets are not sold online for the time being but you are able to purchase them at the door at $19 for adults, $16 for seniors and $9 for children although the prices do get much cheaper if you go in a groups of twenty or more

It is very common to go dressed up to fit into the scene but if your not looking forward to buying your own costume, the Renaissance Festival has rental costumes available for the entire family at lower prices then you would find in a store. This festival includes a variety of options for fun, whether it is taking pictures with all the knights and queens or buying art and hand made crafts. Besides the typical 18th century imitated shows, this festival has many other eye catching entertainments that involved people dangling off trees while dancing, men walking on tight ropes over other people and men twisting their bodies in the most uncomfortable positions.

After running around all day trying to get to the most anticipated events, one forgets about food but that is not a problem. There is plenty of food to buy at the festival ranging from Belgium waffles, chicken sandwiches, barbequed ribs and fresh seafood along with many different snacks available as well.

This festival is one that is not to be missed so be sure to mark it on your calendars for an extraordinary experience. Also visit their online website: http://www.rennfest.com/ to print out discount coupons for your admission fee.
