A: “I found out through a friend who was also in tech. I also love to paint and that is some of

what was required for the job. I’ve worked hard on the walls and decorations.”

Q: How has this whole experience benefited you as a person?

A: “I’ve definitely made a lot of new friends and felt proud of the work I did.”

Jin Lin: One of the members of tech support

Q: What has your job been throughout the process of working with tech?

A: “I did a lot of the painting of the set and moving around the materials connected with the

set. It takes a lot of skills.”

Q: What impact has this job had on you as a person and how you think?

A: “I’ve learned to have a lot of fun and it’s made me have that interest in painting that I

actually have thought about the future and if painting is something I will consider.”

Alex Matzinger Lash: Actor in the upcoming play

Q: How do you think tech is beneficial to the play?

A: “As an actor, I know tech is definitely necessary, because it complements the skills of the

actor and makes it easier for the actor to portray their part.

Q: How do you see tech in the eyes of an AHS student and actor in the upcoming play?

A: “ I think it’s stunning the amount of work that they’ve done in such a short amount of time.

This is the best set that I’ve seen so far at an AHS production and I can’t wait to act on the

set.”

William Bennett: Drama teacher and director of the play

Q: Can you explain just how the set is established?

A: “So we have a two story class that my tech class and volunteers after school and on the

weekends have helped put together. So it has been built from scratch. We’ve got the stairs,

and we are painting the wallpaper right now, and if you look at the designs, you’ll see that

its a house. It has been specifically made to look like the Victorian Era.”

Q: What have been some of the successes of tech as a result of their sets?

A: “Last year we were nominated for one of the best sets in the county. We were were the

top five and hopefully we will get that this year.
