Annandale defeated by Woodson at Homecoming 33-0
The Annandale Homecoming game against Woodson concluded with a loss for the atoms with a score of 33-0 on Oct. 18th.
The Cavaliers made two touchdowns and a one-point field goal in the first quarter, a touchdown in the second quarter and two touchdowns in the final quarter.
Despite the loss, the praising audience kept up morale, which was filled with alumni who came to support the atoms and the homecoming celebration.
Following the halftime performance from the dance team, the homecoming court nominations were displayed, with a result of Lewis Folli and Amanda Filsoof as homecoming king and queen.

Just to clarify my message, I don’t want Coach Scott to actually be fired from his teaching job at Annandale but rather be relieved of his duties as the head of Annandale Football.

What the heck is with the pro formation and the read option! We know Steven Schwartz isn’t going to burn the defenders with his legs for a 20 yard gain. Let him throw it 50 times a game!!!! The defense isn’t build to shut down opponents, its build to play with a lead!!!

Also why do we try to field the punt/kickoff when the closest 7 players to our return man are defenders!!!! Is the fair catch illegal in High School football or is it a common theme for Coach Scott to play it risky?

Its simple really, throwing with 4 receiver sets will help spacing and allow the running backs to get open lanes. Schwartz isn’t the most accurate passer or has the best technique, but working on quick, short to intermediate throws will help him improve his confidence and numbers
