Dear Stressed,

You are definitely not the only student stuck in this position at this time of year. Many people who were comfortable throughout the year are feeling stressed because the idea of studying for major tests scheduled at roughly the same time in all classes can be daunting. Here are some helpful tips:

-Prioritize your time. Decide which subjects need the most attention and then make it a point to study for specific amounts of time.

-Set small goals. Aim to study one subject per night, and don’t swamp yourself or put too much pressure on yourself to cover everything in one day.

-Know how you learn. Figure out how you are able to study and remember things best, be it flash cards, recitation, or writing out information.

These techniques should help you alleviate some stress and hopefully do well on your finals. Good luck!

-Carli
