Tonight, Thursday November 3rd, the Annandale Chorus Department will be making their first debut of the school year at Annandale United Methodist Church. The concert will be from 7:30-9:30 with a scheduled after party from 9:30-10:00. The chorus department has been preparing for this concert from the moment that students stepped into the choral room on the first day of school.

The concert’s theme will be centered around the idea of American freedom, for the main piece of every choir participating is “Testament of Freedom.” The Choral Department is also very excited to welcome a professional male vocal group that will be joining them in a few pieces during the concert, as well as sing a few of their own pieces.

Jessica Lardin, the Choral director, has been working to put this concert together. , “Last year (When the German exchange occurred) we really focused on more European music, and now this year we are taking more of a Patriotic and American theme,” Lardin said.
