The Annandale Theatre Company’s hard work has finally come to an end with an amazing story to tell to audiences raving for fantastic stories. The theatre has worked on this play for about three months working overtime just for the audience to enjoy the wonderful play they put together.

The play will run for about two hours, and it will be held in the auditorium at four different times which are, April 20th at 7PM, April 21st at 7PM, April 22nd at 2PM, April 22nd at 7PM. Tickets range from the price of $12 at the door and 10 on pre-sale; tickets are on sale on all lunches. Tickets can also be brought online, credit cards are accepted.

Organizer of the play Katherine Brunberg states that the play “It is most closely related to the 1997 telefilm, Cinderella, starring Brandy and Whitney Houston. It’s very different from the Disney version, however, there are some similarities.”

The show Cinderella is Rodgers and Hammerstein’s, as Rodgers did the music and Hammerstein created the book and lyrics.

Cinderella is an “upbeat show with a lot of funny moments but also some heartwarming ones. There’s romance, magic, comedy, and larger than life characters” said Brunberg. The summary of the play is about a girl named Cinderella, she is oppressed by her stepfamily after both her mother and father died. Brunberg mentions her favorite line is when “Cinderella stands upon the pumpkin patch and exclaims to the world how much she wishes to go to the ball. She wishes “for every girl who ever wanted to go to a dance and was told she couldn’t.” I feel this message will resonate with many young people who are often told they can’t or shouldn’t live their dreams” she adds “Most of all, I want the audience to be inspired by the magic our students have worked so hard to make and to walk away believing anything is possible. After all, impossible things are happening every day!”

Come out to watch and show your support of the wonderful play by the Annandale Theatre Company.
