Seven days days ago, our country remembered the tragic events that happened on the morning of  sept. 11 2001. On that morning attackers turned airplanes into weapons which resulted in four coordinated attacks which killed over 3,000 americans.One attack hit close to home in the pentagon which is in washington dc only thirty minutes away from annandale. Students lost family members that day.  Teachers who are currently teaching at our school remember brightly what happened on that day. “

At first we were confused but by lunchtime we heard what actually happened. The kids who had parents who worked at the Pentagon had to go home and we had to cancel football practice.” (Magiciso 9.11.19)
