This summer I am spending one month in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam. The main plan for this trip involves reuniting with my family there and spending time with them. We have multiple family reunions planned, which involves a large meal and fun activities together afterwards for the children. The culminating event during my time here will be a trip to the city of Vung Tau with the whole family to enjoy the beaches located there. Additionally, I will be volunteering at my cousin’s job, which helps to promote the adequate growth of children around the city. In general, I’m just planning to explore the city and its attractions while getting the opportunity to see my grandparents, as well as the other members of my family, for the first time in four years.
