My favorite movie is The Martian, my favorite book is All the Ugly and Wonderful Things and anything mystery, and my favorite tv shows are Friends and Grey’s Anatomy!
During the pandemic I…
I did A LOT of walking and exercising during the pandemic. I also zoomed with friends who live far away, played board/card games, and read lots of books!
What do you enjoy doing outside of school?
I enjoy going to the movies, hanging out with friends, exercising, visiting my family, and traveling to new places!
Some fun facts about me…
My great-grandmother was supposed to travel to America on the Titanic but missed the trip because one of her family members was sick!

Why did you decide to start teaching?
I’ve always loved working with young people and helping them. That combined with my love of math made the perfect combination to become a teacher!
What’s your favorite thing about being a teacher?
I love getting to meet so many students and learn about them. My favorite thing is probably hearing from past students about what they’re up to now. It’s truly a wonderful thing to see my students grow and become accomplished young adults!
