10 Tips to surviving Black Friday
1. Search the ads for the best deals
2. Get to the store shortly after it’s open, there’s no use in waiting in a line hours before the store opens
3. Get in and get out, don’t use Black Friday as a day for casual shopping
4. Have a mission: only go if there has been an advertised deal you know is offered
5. Shop local
6. Expect heavy traffic
7. Only look for deals on big ticket items, less expensive items aren’t worth the trouble
8. Don’t feel pressured to buy something just because it’s on sale
9. Look for malls/stores that aren’t in heavily populated areas, a farther drive can make up for heavy lines
10. Don’t go at all, Cyber Monday is a much smarter way to save
