What are your favorite movies?
Elf, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Bend It Like Beckham (tons really, I love TV and movies)

My favorite books are….
Anything in the science fiction fiction category. John Scalzi has a series called the Old Man’s series, and my favorite books are probably the first three books from that.

What made you want to teach?
I previously had a career I loved in the subject I teach. Desk work was very lonely and not at all for me. I wanted to share that love and work with young people, so I became a teacher.

Some fun facts about me are…
I have lived in England and Ireland, and in high school, my job was to be Chuck E. Cheese.

What do you like to do outside of school?
I knit, lift weights, go hiking and searching for letterboxes (stamps hidden throughout the world).

How long have you been teaching?
This is my sweet sixteenth year as teacher.

Other hints…
I live with my partner Melissa, our child Riley, three cats, and a bunny.
