DIY glow-in-the-dark patio jars

Let your dried jars sit directly under a light source for a little while so the paint has time to “charge.” You can now enjoy the glow-in-the-dark effects!

Light up summer nights with these inexpensive DIY glow-in-the-dark patio jars.

 

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Collect your materials. Smaller glass jars work better as patio lights for this project.
  2. Squirt your paint onto your paper plate or surface and paint the insides of your glass jars.
  3. Let the paint dry. Your glass jars should now look like this.
  4. For a brighter light and interesting effect, add a second layer by squirting a glob of paint directly into the bottom of the jar, then turn it upside down and let the paint drip down the sides. Let dry.
  5. Let your dried jars sit directly under a light source for a little while so the paint has time to “charge.” You can now enjoy the glow-in-the-dark effects!
