Red Out against Stuart tonight
After last Friday’s defeat, the Varsity boys are bringing their A-Game
Atoms Varsity Football takes on the J.E.B. Stuart Raiders at 7PM at Stuart territory. After last week’s loss to the Falls Church Jaguars 42-27, the team is ready to show their “A-Game”.
“They have a really good quarterback, so we need to come out strong,” senior quarterback Steven Schwartz said. “My goal is to keep the team’s spirit up. If they get a touchdown our team needs to know that there is a chance to come back and win.”
Beating the Raiders 33-28 in last year’s season, Schwartz is hopeful but does not underestimate their opponent’s ability.
“We definitely have a chance. J.E.B. Always gets pumped up when they are playing us, so tonight we will feel the same.”
Tonight’s game is a Red Out so everyone should be sure to wear Atom’s Red!
