Undefeated boys basketball prepares for game tonight

Tonight, the undefeated Varsity Atoms boys basketball faces off a winless South County boys varsity at 5:45 in Stallion territory. The Atoms four wins and zero losses puts them at the top of the patriot conference while the Stallions remain at the other end of the spectrum with zero wins and three losses. Girls Varsity follows boys varsity at 7:30, also at South County.

Senior Robert Figley says, “I’m excited about the game tonight because I might actually get some playing time. When we are up by 30 my coach even might let me pull a three or two.”

One the Atoms strongest starters, senior Jordan Adams humbly said, “Even though we haven’t lost and they have not won we have to play smart. Cockiness will kill us, we have to go into this game as a team as if we are playing for our lives. As long as we stick to fundamentals and work together as a team, I know we will come out on top.”

Come out to support Atoms basketball tonight starting off with the boys at 5:45 as they seek to keep their undefeated record and watch the girls at 7:30 fight to put another win in the books.
