No Exit Review

No exit recently aired on Hulu and due to the number of twists and turns it has the show has been doing numbers. The movie follows the story of drug addict Darby Thorne and her escape from her rehab center.

Darby gets a call in rehab telling her that her mom is in the hospital dying. She frantically tried to get in contact with her sister but the doctors shut it down quickly.

Devastated Darby escapes the rehab center at night and steals a car from the parking lot to get to her mom. Her plans are cut short when she gets caught in a blizzard and is forced to stay at a rest stop.

When she gets to the rest stop she tries to get wifi and cell reception to call her sister but she quickly learns that there is none. Desperate to get in reach with family Darby walks outside to try and get better reception. Things take a turn when instead of finding service she finds a kid tied up in the trunk. Now she has to find a way to save the kid and find out who kidnapped her.

This movie kept me on my toes the whole time, there are twists and turns until the very end. Every time I thought I was getting close to finding out who kidnapped the kid another plot twist happens. Even though it was a good movie I hate the pace it went at.

It doesn’t leave time to build suspense and tension; it gets straight to the point. I would give this movie a 7/10 just because of the pace, it could have been a way better movie if they just took a little longer to build that tension.

I recommend this movie to anyone who loves mystery and thriller. It’s a very quick watch, you won’t be disappointed!
